May 2010 - Now-a-days, producers and consumers are more and more aware of the impact of food production on the environment. In addition, consumers are looking for health products with a high quality. Both trends have stimulated all kinds of new products with a focuss on traditional quality and organic production. Holland Malt now has taken the initiative to apply for organic certification of its malt production. Last month, this has resulted in an organic certificate, which means we are now certified to produce malt from organic barley all according to EU regulations 834 / 2007. A link to the certificate can be found under Safety & Quality - Quality assurance.
